6/15/08 TICA EO REMINDER: When filling out a litter registration application, you must fill out section D for each kitten. That is the section that provides the color of each of the kittens. If this section is not filled out then TICA will have to contact the breeder or send back the litter form.

07/02/2007: The region will be receiving a rebate of 975.00 from the Executive office which will go towards the regional awards.

06/28/2007: Award notifications will be going out soon. Be sure to be looking for it in the mail. Remember: If you want your awards mailed to you: you need to send 10.00 to Sharon Ann Paradis, 29 White Street, Augusta, ME 04330. Due to problems with the last few years awards. No one will be allowed to pick up another persons awards without permission ahead of time. We have had some people not get their awards.

The Northeast Region has a new scorer. See information under Regional Scorer. Please forward your complete marked catalogs to Audrey Hobbs as it is now her responsibility to do the scoring for the region. I wish to thank Audrey for becoming the new scorer and volunteering her time and expertise to fulfill this very important position.

Melissa Alexander did a great job as regional scorer and she will be sadly missed but due to work obligations, she can no longer perform this service for the region. Melissa was very accurate in her work. Thank you Melissa for volunteering and for dedicating your time to your region.

Concerning the TICA Trend Editor position

You will see the requirements set forth by the Board of Directors and with the help of Kathy Welch for the job of TICA Trend editor. Kathy Welch has done an outstanding job with the trend for many years. This is not an easy job to do. I have worked with Kathy in creating an ad for the trend and I was very impressed by her work. She is very professional in her manner, has great ideas and is a very creative person with a great personality.
